So wow, we have big plans here at DaddyElk for the month of July and I can’t wait to tell you about them. But of course that’s why we do these Website Roundups to keep our lovely readers up-to-date and informed!

Yeah, right.

What’s that imaginary voice in my head? Do you disagree that these Roundups are for informational purposes?

C’mon, you have to admit you only write these when your output is way down and you want to make it seem like you’re doing more that you really are. I mean look at the month of June, there was like what? Five posts? That’s really low even by your standards.

Jeeze imaginary voice, that’s a bit harsh. But really, isn’t it about quality rather than quantity?

Well regardless that’s what I’m here to talk about. See, this is the first of the month and for the entire month of July there will be a new post everyday!  We will be continuing the episode by episode feature Delta Redux: A Voyager Rewatch as well as more thoughts from the 99 Science Fiction Films You Must See, a relaunch of Long Lost Longbox after a brief hiatus and an actual launch of the Nexus of All Realities. Not to mention fabulous new articles and opinions and maybe a tidbit of trivia along the way. Oh and a new short story exclusive to the site. So there you have it, a new article each and every day! That’s 31 new things to read and enjoy from the lovely folks here at DaddyElk!

I’ll believe it when I see it. And what do you mean ‘lovely folks’ isn’t it just you?

Yes it’s just me. Dang, I’m just trying to give the illusion of something bigger. Way to look behind the curtain Dorothy. And seriously can’t you be a bit more supportive? I mean I’m really trying to do something creative and ambitious here the least you could do is back me up a bit.

Hey man, don’t get mad at me. I’m just an imaginary construct created to externalize your thoughts and innermost feelings. I merely personify your fear of failure. Believe me it’s no picnic being the voice in your head. Its a mess in here.

I know I’ve been meaning to clean it up. I got a lot on my plate and this whole “post every day” business is stressing me out. I think I may have over-extended myself and made promises I can’t keep.

Not to add insult to injury or anything but you know how you start these things with cowboy jargon? It’s not working, you should stop doing that. And it’s kinda stupid.
